Megan and Chris: elopement in Tuscany

I love elopements as much (if not more!) than traditional weddings. Imagine being somewhere beautiful with your significant other, sharing days, experiences, adventures and getting married in a place that will forever remain special. I was truly honoured to travel to Tuscany in July to capture a very special Tuscan elopement for Megan and Chris. They travelled all the way from Canada to pronounce their vows under the Tuscan sun <3

Wedding shoot in the tulip fields

Nicole and Matt flew all the way from Canada to elope in Amsterdam and have their photos taken in the tulip fields. It has always been her dream to see the flowers and wander around Dutch countryside, enjoying the views. We left the city before the sunset, heading to the fields. The photos turned out very sincere and very emotional, just like this beautiful couple <3 I will share their city photoshoot next week as well.

Intimate wedding walk in a sunset Florence

Yana and Aleksei were dreaming of a romantic intimate elopement in one of the most beautiful cities in Italy - Florence. We got really lucky, as the sunset sun created a truly magical atmosphere. I walked with them to my favourite photo-spots, and we witnessed the sunset from a rooftop terrace in the heart of the city.

Intimate elopement in Cape Town

They flew all the way to South Africa with a dream to exchange marriage vows next to the ocean. I was there to witness a very intimate, honest and emotional wedding ceremony "for two". After that special moment when they promised to love, respect and cherish each other, we drove to my favourite beach for a stunning sunset, stopping along the way.

Wedding for two in Amsterdam

A beautiful bride Anne contacted me a month before their honeymoon trip to Amsterdam. She wanted a very unconventional wedding shoot for only two of them, in this city full of surprises and bright locations. The dress was made by her grandmother, and it perfectly fit to the mood of the city. I still get amazed by how perfect Amsterdam matched to the mood and character of this outstanding couple!
We spent the whole day wandering around busy streets, parks and the dunes.

Blessing ceremony in Cape Town

Blessings and vows...

It was a truly special and emotional experience that I will never forget. LJ and Jenny contacted me just a few months before my usual trip to Cape Town, asking whether I could help them organise a blessing ceremony for family and close friends. They both live in Great Britain but come from South Africa. A year before they got married in London, but a lot of relatives couldn't fly to the wedding. Hence, they've got a beautiful idea: to plan an intimate blessing and vow renewal ceremony in Cape Town.
We set everything on a spectacular empty beach, surrounded by sand dunes and facing the ocean. Only the closest family members and friends attended the ceremony.
